Action Outfit for Padmé Naberrie
Lanvin, Fall 2015What If… Queen Amidala and her handmaidens were able to escape the Trade Federation during Fall of Theed because of the sacrifice of Captain Panaka and some of his men. But they’re unable to leave the planet not do they meet up with the Jedi (who weren’t able to get of the ship) instead they meet a clumsy Gungan named Jar Jar Binks and thus the first seed of rebellion are sown.
Months later the Gungans and the Naboo are working together to free their planet from the Trade federation but while the Gungans face the droid armies head on, the rely on other methods then open warfare. And so the Handmaidens spy, sabotage and even succeed in assassinating a high ranking Nemodian or two all the while hoping that one day Naboo will be theirs again….
Had someone told Padmé a year ago that Naboo would be invaded by the Trade Federation and that the Republic would do nothing while her people suffered, she would’ve politely told them they were insane. Now after nearly a year of guerrilla warfare from the Naboo while the Gungans met them head on had begun taking it’s toll on the Federation. Their newest strategy worked miracles, a small group would sabotage often disrupting the communication mechanics of the droids before they would meet Gungans in battle. Not mention all the people that’d been able to free.
Yet for all their recent series of victories, the Republic kept failing then, the Naboo’s hopes that the ancient governing body crumbling day by day. During the few times they’d been able to make contact Senator Palpatine, Padmé had learned that the Federation stalled him and his allies at every turn. From what she had heard the Nemodians and their allies even resorting to intimidation and assassinations. Not mention it didn’t help that Civil Wars had broken out on several planets in Hutt Space. Turning the attentions of Republic their rather then on Naboo.
