Anakin Skywalker decides to resign from Jedi Order, although he refuses to tell the council why, after Padmé tells him she pregnant. After Anakin dreams about Padmé dying while giving birth, he convinces her to leave early for Naboo where they tell her family about their clandestine marriage. Unknowingly because the couple wasn’t on Coruscant, they thwarted Palpatine’s plans for Anakin and prevailed him from turning to the dark side. Nor was Anakin present when the Jedi confronted when Mace Windu killed Sidious. Next two decades or so Anakin and Padmé try raise to their children all the while the Republic is falling apart and wars break out around them…

We’ve left for Orto Plutonia this eve. I didn’t believe Ahsoka, but Orto Plutonia is a frozen world so unlike it’s moon Pantora. Now I’m glad for the winter robes father asked Maré to pack for me. Mother right to say Luke and I are children of the desert like Father, the dry heat of Tatooine doesn’t bother us but we aren’t built for this kind of cold.

Naboo has been a beacon of hope in the battle against slavery, and mother had been right when she said Naboo could not refuse the Talz’s request for help. Like the Wookies, slavers have been raiding the Talz colony on Orto Plutonia, capturing and sell them as workers to several planets in the Outer and Mid Rim. It is only in the privacy of my mind that I will acknowledge that this particular mission hits close to home then most would realize, Pooja included. For I cannot forget that I am the daughter and granddaughter of freed slaves.

Still this journey has been educational for me from political viewpoint. Pooja is a skilled senator but she just isn’t cut from the same wood as Mother and several senators who served during the Clone Wars such as Riyo Chuchi. The Pantoran senator has had dealings with Talz colony in the past. Because of the dangerous nature of this mission, Sosha requested the help of the Knights and father agreed with her (although part of me wonder he would’ve agreed as easily if it hadn’t been Pooja and myself who required protection). Ahsoka is in charge of our security, leading a small squad of Knights. When she is not on guard duty, she can often be found in the company of the pantoran senator. It seems she and Senator Chuchi are old friends, but rarely have the opportunity to meet in person due their respective lifestyles. It does explained why Snips instantly jump the gun when father asked to lead the squad.

Aside from the cold this mission would’ve been fine of it hadn’t been for the presence of the Jedi send by the Senate. I do not mind Master Kenobi but I wouldn’t mind putting this Dark Woman in her place. She is a vile creature, who is not half as knowledgeable about the Force as she thinks she is. Father once said that Jedi have grown arrogant in their power, looking at this Dark Woman I can understand what he meant.
