What Shaera Targaryen would have worn, Antonios Couture

Shaera’s father King Aegon V Targaryen (Aemon’s brother – called egg) had developed a deep distaste for the Targaryen practice of incestuous marriages and was determined to end the custom. However, from a young age, Prince Jaehaerys had been of a more traditional frame of mind, as he was in love with his sister, Princess Shaera. Shaera, in turn, desired him. King Aegon V and Queen Betha observed this and were alerted because of it. They did everything they could to separate the two siblings, yet this only served to inflame their passion. So king Aegon V had his children betrothed to the children of House Tully and Tyrell. But after their brother, Prince Duncan, defied King Aegon V Targaryen and married a common born girl known as Jenny of Oldstones, Prince Jaehaerys and Princess Shaera took note, and decided to defy their father too. Shaera and Jaehaerys eluded their guards and were secretly married and by the time this became known to their royal parents, Jaehaerys and Shaera had already consummated the marriage, forcing Aegon to accept it. Shaera and her brother became Queen and King once their father died.
