What if… Darth Vader discovered Leia on Alderaan at a young age and reclaimed her. Raising her as his daughter and training her as secret apprentice…

She was well aware that the crown prince couldn’t keep his eyes of her, it certainly did wonders for her vanity and wasn’t the only one. She had been ten years old when Leia had found her on Jakku and for years the courtiers, the moffs and the higher ups in the military had looked down upon her. She might have the Force but in their eyes she had been nothing more than a little backwater scavenger, unworthy of their Empress’ time and attention. Since then she avoided the imperial court and the few times she was forced to accompany her mistress, Rey wore either a military uniform or her apprentice robes. She had learned however how to act like a lady of class, no matter how she might despise it. Still the fact that it was har, a little junkrat from Jakku who’d completely unintentionally seduced the Master of the Knights of the Ren, was something she would savor for years. Especially when the Court figured out who she was. She supposed she’d ignored Lord Ren enough for now and it couldn’t do any harm to endear herself to the delegation of the First Order, so makes her way.

“General,” Rey holds out her hand for the red haired general, she can’t quite remember is his name but she thinks it Hux, who takes her hand and kisses the hair above back of her hand. “welcome to Coruscant.”

“Thank you, madame.”

She smiles before turning to the crown prince and dropping into a deep curtsy in front of him. “Your Grace, it’s a pleasure to have you back home again even if it is only for a sennight.”

“Rise, my lady.” She does “It’s good to be back, my lady.”

“It certainly made your lady mother, the empress very happy.” Rey explained, well aware that Hux is studying her more carefully.“She has missed you very much.”

“You would know better then most, Lady Rey being as close to my mother your are.”

“I would never dare to claim to know the empress’ feelings.” Rey ran her hands down, smoothing non existing wrinkles. “I am after all but her lowly apprentice.”

“Her student you may be, but the empress values you.”
