Order of the Phoenix member Magdalena Lithgow in a rather pensive mood on the rooftop of the Black residence and Order headquarters, where she could often to be found (the exact nature of her relationship to Sirius Black remains the subject of speculation). Seen here during the First Wizarding War in rather ornamental robes personally charmed to bloom with iridescent black beaded roses at sundown. Lithgow was known for a somewhat impractical aesthetic, as exemplified by her fondness for velvet and lace. When questioned on her sartorial choices she was known to reply, “We’re at war, not wandering the wasteland. Surely we’re not so far gone as to fall prey to asceticism?”

Auror Faith Kidd in France. Auror Kidd was one of the few first generation half-bloods to keep their place in Voldemort’s Ministry and used it to her advantage, sneaking away muggle-borns and “blood-traitors” to safety.

Some note that her style has changed since her work in Britain, preferring to cover up more. When asked why she rolls back her sleeve revealing a whole arm of scar tissue. “They figured out what I was doing and chucked me in Azkaban. The Lestranges used it like their very own torture circus. This one was Decorio, the skinning curse.” She shrugs of her jacket to show large scars across her collarbone, “These were punching curses and rupturing hexes.”

Since the war Kidd moved to France where she works as a consultant for the French Auror department, helping to catch Death Eaters who escaped overseas. In her spare time she writes her memoirs and flies with her owl Amortentia, or “Amy”.
