The Girl from Gascony by MissWriteress16

Athos de la Fere comes from a ridiculously wealthy family in Paris, his ex-wife murdered his brother and he drinks like a fish. Charlotte D’Artagnan is a woman born and raised in Gascony, has never been married and doesn’t like to drink usually. They are as different as night and day, yet their paths collide at a bar in Paris. Eventually, the two find themselves enjoying one night of fun before going separate ways, not really expecting to cross paths again.

Of course, Fate has always been a rather cruel mistress, as an unforeseen consequence tilts their world upside down and forces them together.

They aren’t alone, though, with Athos’s teammates Aramis and Porthos (who are quite possibly insane), Charlotte’s older sister Constance who might just be the closest thing to a saint and her rather protective father Alexandre (who Athos is definitely not afraid of), Athos’s family who he hasn’t been able to completely push out of his life, a few new and old friends and the ever-suffering Treville along for the ride and you’ve got a recipe for unlikely romances and parenthood, a few explosions here and there and a story of how the things you don’t expect might just make your life better.

The Jedi Senator by MissWriteress16

During the Naboo Crisis someone is removed from office but it is not Chancellor Valorum: instead it is his vice-chair Mas Amedda who is blamed for preventing the Senate and the Chancellor from helping the Queen. In his place former Naboo Senator Palpatine is elected, with Queen Amidala eventually taking his place. The former Queen develops a bond with new Padawan Annika Skywalker; her master is still reeling from the near death of his master Qui-Gon Jinn but is able to train her with the man’s guidance, as well as some help from the Council and Qui-Gon’s former Master Dooku.

Years have passed and the Jedi faces large amounts of distrust from the public and the Senate due to their disconnect. In an attempt to rebuild trust Chancellor Valorum gives the Jedi a seat in the Senate. They elect the most unlikely person for the job: eighteen-year-old Annika Skywalker.

Annika is taken under the wing of Senator Amidala and is assisted by her handmaidens as she learns to navigate the world of politics where not even her Jedi skills may save her from deceit and lies.

Soon she uncovers something darker than a corrupt Senate: a Sith Lord lurks in plain sight, planning to destroy the Republic from inside.

The Weight of the Crown by MissWriteress16

Alejandra (most people call her Alex) Hamilton considered her life very normal: sure she worked for the President, but beyond the occasional fights she got into with Senators and reporters alike it was still a fairly mundane life.

Then her long-lost grandfather showed up and turned her world upside down by revealing her mother was a princess and with the death of her cousin, she is now the Crown Princess of Nevis.

Despite her wishes, the burden of the crown will fall upon her head…and it may be sooner than anyone, including her, would like.
